Motherhood…what a blessing! What a job!! What have you experienced on your motherhood journey?
Motherhood is something that many dream about as a little girl. I did.
Sometimes a dream that seems will never happen. We were told it would never happen for us.
A job that changes you like no other ever could. A job that fills your heart with such joy and leaves you shaking in your boots. It is job that will make you search deep within your heart and bare your soul to the Creator who knows you like no other.
Motherhood will give you the greatest joys and the deepest sorrows. You will defend you child like a mama bear. You will love your child no matter what they do or how they hate you. You will be disappointed but your love runs deep.
You will cry rivers of tears because you have NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE DOING and wonder if you are scarring your child for life. LIFE!!!!!
So, do you have what it takes to be a mother? Do I have what it takes to be a mother?
No…we don’t. I know I don’t.
But we know the One who will equip us better than all the books we read and education/webinars/blogs that we follow. When you follow His leading and His blueprint, you will be enough for your child! Not perfect…but who is?
If He gave you children, He will give you what you need to raise them. Motherhood involves struggles deep within us and will stretch us like nothing us (physically, emotionally and spiritually)
